Fragile Bird ‘Full of Fear (It Is What It Is)’
Brief
To create a simple animated music video that would capture the energy of their new single ‘Full of Fear (It Is What It Is)’. Craig (aka Fragile Bird) wanted the visuals to convey the dark, self-critical and pensive themes of the song, as well as fit the overall musical tone and atmosphere.
Outcome
Craig and I worked together to create a visual motif that runs through the video. Together, we arrived on the image of flowers blooming over a portrait of Craig, before slowly disappearing (“slowly fade away”) until nothing remains. The video uses this motif to capture the track’s themes of loss and growth.
